Forbes Names Mutual Mobile One of America's Most Promising Companies

Austin, TX – Mutual Mobile, a leading provider of custom mobile solutions for companies such as Google, Cisco, and Audi, announced today that it was honored by Forbes as one of America’s 100 Most Promising Companies. Forbes’ list positioned Mutual Mobile 34th overall, and first for Texas-based companies.

Forbes paired with CB Insights, a data firm that tracks investment in high-growth private companies, to identify emerging companies with tremendous growth prospects. Companies were ranked according to revenue and employee size in 2008 and 2010, estimates for 2011, and a number of variables including market size, strength of major competitors, management experience, strategic partnerships, and amount of outside capital raised.

“These privately held up-and-comers have compelling business models, strong management teams, marquee customers, strategic partners and precious investment capital,” says Forbes Executive Editor Brett Nelson.

“We are honored to be recognized by Forbes so early in our history,” said Mutual Mobile CEO and President John Arrow. “We’ve worked with many tremendous clients over the past two years, and plan to continue hiring top talent from around the world to expand our end-to-end mobile capabilities and solutions.”

Mutual Mobile was founded by five students at the University of Texas in 2009, and today stands at nearly 190 employees spread across locations in Austin, San Francisco, and Hyderabad, India. The company has continued to double in size every 6 months, and is actively pursuing mobile talent.
